I'm Slade Moore, and these are the principles Little Heron Media uses to inform and inspire audiences. They’re the foundation of an approach that merges journalistic integrity and precision with the creative potential of video, audio, and writing.

I founded Little Heron Media to contribute a unique skillset and perspective earned from decades serving people and the environment at their most vulnerable. Before Little Heron, I worked on the front lines of wildlife conservation, search and rescue, emergency medicine, climate resilience policy, immigration justice, and conflict zone aid work.

 

These experiences don't just shape Little Heron's mission—they provide the tools to inspire wonder, empathy, respect, and humor from unexpected places. They also prepare us to expertly ​assess and navigate the challenges of filming environments burdened with extreme or simply uncertain conditions.
